I’m an avid outdoorsy type of girl. With Covid, I was spending a lot more time outside over this past summer just to get out of the house and get some fresh air. There’s a walking/bike trail near my home called The Big 4 Trail that was originally part of a railroad corridor. My husband and I bike it frequently. I snapped this picture during one of our trips. I’m not sure what/who this is, but he/she (it?) ducked back into the leaves right after I took the pic and headed off to the right away from the creek. We thought it may have been a cat, but looking through the photos when we got home, it definitely wasn’t a cat. I thought I’d share with you lovely people since you’re open minded and may find it interesting.
Original Photo. You can see the little head peeking out from behind a piece of stump.:
Area where our little friend is hiding:
I'm not sure where you are, but if you're in the Northeast, then it could indeed be a pukwudgie (I'm not sure I spelled it correctly.) I'm not that all that familiar with them, beyond knowing that they love strawberries and there an episode of Paranormal State where it was determined they were what was causing trouble instead of ghosts.
I know what you mean. In many southeast asian countries their called Tree People. Thanks so much, yes its a work in progress, but we are really excited to see what's to come!
Any creature who is Woodley. Usually if its a Centaur of Werewolf, or it can be a fawn (a really tall one) but they are usually smaller or other unbound that is just lingering. Great photo!
