Yesterday was my birthday and I went on a ghost tour here in San Diego. I learned lots of fascinating things. I learned that most of old town is basically right on top of a cemetery and one of the local parks in mission valley was built right on top of a mass grave of over 2000 people. I never knew there was so much history just 5 minutes from me. We also visited the Famous Whaley house. Titled the “Most haunted house in America” Unfortunately it wont be open to the public until Sep. 22 but it was still fun to visit and learn about its history. I plan to return to the house once it’s opened and book a guided night tour. here are some photos I took from the ghost tour last night. I highly recommend visiting your local haunted places if possible. you might just learn something new about where you live.

Oh, that sounds like it was an awesome experience! I would love to see the Whaley House sometime.
Several of the privately held historical places near me in Gallatin TN have been acknowledging the haunted bits of their history in the last few years and holding ghost hunts or special tours. Rosemont is the newest one that I know about - although the house had been open to the public for many years, the last direct descendent still lived there until her death a few years ago and they kept the stories quiet out of respect to her.
One place I reccomend if you're ever in the area is the Thomas House in Red Boiling Springs. It's been featured on a few TV shows like Ghost Hunters and Portals to Hell. I love that place, despite the TV attention. lol (It's also fun to get behind the baby ghosthunters on tours. They get so excited. "THE EMF IS OFF THE SCALE!!" they yell as they stand right under one of six old light sconces in an equally old hallway filled with who knows what kind of wiring and every light in the place is blazing bright. lol)
This is 🔥! Love the Whaley house! Never been, however I love to watch the shows that take place here.
